Shafeeq A. Ameen, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Education and Director of Clinical Experiences and Student Services at Norfolk State University. He has spent the past twenty-five years as a classroom teacher on the elementary, middle, high school and collegiate levels at both public and private institutions. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Virginia State University in English, Master of Arts degree from Norfolk State University, a Master of Education degree from Regent University and a Doctor
of Philosophy degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Virginia Tech.
Dr. Shafeeq A. Ameen has three daughters, Jahaan, Khadijah and Maryam, who hold respectively a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA), a Doctor of Public Health degree (Ph.D.) and a Doctor of Medicine degree (MD). He currently resides in Norfolk, Virginia.
