Description: St. Francis of Assisi (1182-1226) is well-known for his love of God and his austere life. He and his fellow friars set great examples of ways to love God, see God in everyone, love all beings, and live a simple life with humility. In this talk, we will share several incidents from St. Francis’ life that are guiding light to all of us. We will also share similar incidents from other saints’ lives.

Ravi has been initiated into spirituality through the Sathya Sai Center of Hampton Roads where he has held several positions for the last 25 years. He owes his gratitude to His divine master Bhagawan Sathya Saibaba for His guidance and grace. Professionally, he is a professor and chair in the Department of Computer Science at Old Dominion University where he has been teaching for the last 34 years. He is a popular speaker at our Fellowship of the Inner Light.
