Title: The Power of Prayer & Meditation
Narrative: Knowing and experiencing God’s presence in our life is what our life is all about-it is the purpose for our being here on planet earth. Prayer and meditation are the golden keys that open the doors to the Presence of God within us. Nothing could possibly be more important in our lives than the practice of daily prayer and meditation. In this talk, Bruce will share with everyone the specific prayer and meditation practices that have worked best for him all his life. This will be an inspirational talk on the power of prayer and meditation.
Bruce first began attending services of the Fellowship of the Inner Light (FIL) in 1973 at the old Seahorse Inn. FIL has played an important role in his spiritual life and growth ever since. He currently serves as President of the Board of Directors and is the Senior Pastor of the Fellowship. A retired Probation Officer and Counselor, he serves to help Fellowship members in need. As Music Minister, he keeps our Sunday Services vibrant and spirit filled. In addition, Bruce cares for the Fellowship’s buildings and grounds. What a guy! Welcome Bruce!
