Spiritual lessons from the life Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa
Description: Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa is an enlightened soul who lived during 1836-1886 in West Bengal, India. He had inspired several people in the paths of devotion and non-dualism during his time. Since then, his message has been carried out through out the world by Ramakrishna Mission. Through his own experience, he proved that divinity can be realized through different paths and religious practices. His famous student, Swami Vivekananda, was a key figure in the introduction of the Indian philosophies of non-dualism and yoga to the western world. This talk will take you through some of the spiritual practices of Sri Ramakrishna and some of his personal experiences.

Short bio: Ravi has been initiated into spirituality through the Sathya Sai Center of Hampton Roads where he has held several positions for the last 25 years. He owes his gratitude to His divine master Bhagawan Sathya Saibaba for His guidance and grace. Professionally, he is a professor and chair in the Department of Computer Science at Old Dominion University where he has been teaching for the last 34 years. He has also been a regular member of our Fellowship of the Inner Light for the last three years.
